A Comprehensive Approach to Mental Health and Behavioral Support

The ESS Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Framework for Mental Health offers educators a unified vision for structuring mental health support systems. It ensures that every student receives tailored treatment based on the intensity of their needs.

Tier 3: Intensive In-School Clinical Support
  • Specialized programming designed for students facing the most significant mental health challenges.
  • Offers highly structured, longer-term support with a wrap-around approach.
  • Meant to reintegrate your students from outside therapeutic placements, prevent outside placements, or provide preventive support for general education students
  • Tailored programming for students experiencing mild to moderate challenges.
  • Features a less intensive therapeutic structure.
  • Includes crisis assessment, response, and re-entry programs.
    • Comprehensive professional learning plans for educators and parents/caregivers.
    • Universal support initiatives.
    • Capacity-building initiatives focused on Trauma-Informed supports.
